Free On-line Motivation Assessment

For a limited time, a motivation assessment will be available free to those interested in learning more about their motivation and how it impact their relationships.  The details are:

  1. To complete the motivation assessment, you must write four stories.  Two of the stories must be about significant events in past or current relationships and two of the stories must be about one of six pictures shown to you during the test.
  2. Once you complete your stories, you will be sent a report that describes your motivation profile according to the stories you write.  This profile will list the relative strength of your interest in
    1. achievement (recognition for accomplishments),
    2. directing others (exercising power), and
    3. affiliating with others (being liked and respected).
    4. The test approach and motivation profile is based on the work of McClelland.
  3. The accuracy of the results are completely dependent on the nature of the actual stories you tell.
  4. The assessment is not a diagnostic tool.  There are no “right” or “wrong” answers.  While it may help you learn more about your self, it will not be a complete picture of you and it will not diagnosis illness or wellness.
  5. The assessment is given alone so there is no possibility of other assessment tools confirming or contradicting the results.  The severely limits the interpretation of the results other than of your motivation as demonstrated by your stories.
  6. If you are still interested in completing the assessment, please send an email using the contact link and express your interest in the assessment.  You will receive a response email ASAP that includes a link, a user id, and a password to take the assessment.
Thanks!
